Oh MegaUpload... Why are you so weird?

eternal_renaOkay...putting up LJ cuts since the post itself is pretty long just to save your friends page...
It seems MegaUpload broke...again. And this time, it's the file manager. The magazine raws that I've been uploading since last week are not showing up in the root folder of the web version of the file manager...so I wondered how I was going to retrieve my links or make my MegaUpload raw archive without saving the links somewhere...
But then, I decided to give MegaUpload's MegaManager's file manager a shot. And guess what? The files I've uploaded were there. WTF. So I proceeded to move them to the respective folders...then I checked the folders on the web version of the file manager...and lo and behold! The files I moved into the folders were there! XD But...they were still missing in the root folder. Ah well. As long as I can move them into the folders and they still appear, then all is good and I still can do file export for the links...since the MegaManager's file manager file export...sucks DX
I also recently started re-writing my Tales of Symphonia fanfic, Angels of Cruxis, under a new title, effectively discontinuing the aforementioned fanfic. I'm currently almost done with Chapter 1. The reason for the re-write was because of more game canon information being revealed and things like that. I'm also going for shorter chapters this time round. Some of the chapters in the old fic were simply too long... The general plot is the same, but I'm reworking some things here and there, particularly Yuan's personality and Kharlan War Kratos's personality. I also need to think more about the personality of my two original characters and the personalities of the Summon Spirits...and also the timing of the fic itself vs. the game.
Even with that said, I don't think I'll be making the re-written fic public yet. Mainly due to two reasons. One, I need to finish ToS: Knight of Ratatosk at least once first. This re-written fic will roll into an AU ToS-R fic which I'm already thinking about which needs to connect to this one :X Not to mention I need to know the technicalities and how the tree and the world and everything works.
The second reason is I need to do up the new layout I have in mind for Shining Bind, which will of course fit with...well...Kratos's Shining Bind Mystic Arte...
Not to mention that I'm working on the fic while scanning manga >__o
For gaming...I had been playing with item creation in Star Ocean: First Departure. After messing around with it, I have come to the conclusion that the equipment in Star Ocean 2 is much better. Not only that, the blacksmith list in SO2 is much more impressive compared to SO:FD, but I guess that's probably due to the fact that super specialties did not exist in the original game. But either way, the equipment in SO2 is still much more impressive and way better. I need to finish this playthrough soon so I can work on my second playthrough which I'll be getting Erys. Then after that...finally start on Star Ocean: Second Evolution.
I had been listening to my newly acquired Star Ocean: Second Evolution game OST while on my way to work. Whenever I hear the music tracks for the boss battles against the Ten Wise Men...it makes me really want to play the game already! It always reminds me of...
-> How stupidly good I was with Dias so much so that I could beat survival battle in Universe with Dias in the 70s (I can only do it with other fighters when they're around Lv 100+, well I can do it with Precis at lower level...but...still higher than with Dias)
-> How squishy Precis is but is one of the three high Dex characters in the game so I still end up getting her anyway over Bowman
-> On the contrary to popular belief, Noel DOES NOT FORGET to heal, he just heals later than Rena (Rena's AI heals when you're down to about 65% HP, and Noel's AI heals when you're down to around 50% HP)
-> How broken Dias actually is (I'm SERIOUS. Dias is broken. He makes Universe difficulty so much damn easier)
-> How people say Dias suck but the truth is he's really strong when you actually know how to use and equip him
-> How much Ashton sucks for Universe (No kidding. I hated Ashton for being in my party when I was playing Universe difficulty, OMG...so useless)
-> Contemplating why Opera's strength and weapons are so weak that it makes her practically useless against the uber strong bosses (like Indalecio with his limiter off)
-> Probably lots of other things but can't remember/bother to post 8D
But I don't intend to touch SO:SE until I'm done with my second playthrough of SO:FD... Must resist T__T Oh BTW, Rena is MUCH BETTER than Millie, hands down. Cause Rena has Star Flare :S Millie simply sucks too much for me. Give me Erys any day as a healer + offensive caster. But Rena still beats them all cause Rena has all the healing spells, support spells and Star Flare XD
I also finally got my Wii again and started playing Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk (I don't like calling it by its US name...). Still near the beginning, and I don't think I'm going to continue it until I've caught up with some other stuff.

-> Catch up with the latest chapter in Japan for the English manga scanlations for Tales of Vesperia
-> Get more English manga scanlations done for Eternal

-> Write more Tales of Symphonia fanfics
-> Finish up Star Ocean: First Departure, Star Ocean: Second Evolution and Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk before Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver is out in the US (I just know this will be a long shot, but at least SO:FD and SO:SE though...I hope)
-> Finish more games on my long list of games to play
-> Rip and encode my Tales of Series game OSTs and other soundtracks into MP3
-> Rip and encode various Tales of Symphonia OVA and Tales of the Abyss Anime related DVDs that I have into raws

In unrelated news...Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver's release date in the US is one day before my birthday O_o It's going to be my birthday present for myself (getting Heart Gold) :X I just know the game is going to eat my soul and distract me from a lot of things DX
