Manga Scanlation Status

Scanning
Nothing too much. But I've already finished scanning Volume 4 tankoubon for Tales of the Abyss. I've also scanned in all the manga that was published in Volume 1 of the newly released Tales of Magazine. Just finishing up the game scans that are also in the magazine. Next to scan? I dunno really. Probably Tales of Innocence Volume 1? But I need to do some scanning for Tales of Eternia and maybe Tales of Legendia but the editor is still MIA. Nugh~

Proofread
Nothing much done in this regard...really. I've finished the proofread for Tales of Eternia Stage 28. Will send it in for typesetting as soon as the typesetter (lawleit96) is done with Star Ocean 2 Second Evolution Chapter 1... Currently proofreading Tales of the Abyss Episode 3, but had it done halfway and switched to proofreading Tales of Vesperia Chapter 1 cause Nagi has sent the cleans for Chapter 1 back to me (Yah, you so rock :))

Cleaning
Nothing...really. I don't like cleaning...much, even though I know how to do it *shot*

On the other hand, Nagi has already sent me back the cleans for Tales of the Abyss Gaiden 1 (Volume 3) and Tales of Vesperia Chapter 1. Whoo hoo! *glomps Nagi*

Still waiting for the editor of Tales of Legendia to give me a status update...

Also waiting for a cleaning status update from the independent cleaner (not part of the group, just helping out with a series) for Star Ocean 2 Second Evolution Chapter 2.

Typesetting
I finally broke down and passed the typesetting for Star Ocean 2 Second Evolution Chapter 1 to someone else (lawleit96)... New Tales of Series manga made me go all "Uh oh, I must be the one to typeset these! Especially Tales of Vesperia and Tales of the Abyss!" So yeah...

As for me, I'm waiting to finish my own proofread for Tales of Vesperia Chapter 1 to be done and I'll start typesetting the chapter as soon as I'm done. As for the next thing I'll be typesetting, it would probably be either Tales of Vesperia ~Flynn, The Holy Silver Knight~ Chapter 1 or Tales of Symphonia Doujinshi Innumerable Stars. These two will be done first before I go onto typesetting Tales of the Abyss Episode 2.

Yes...Chapter 5 of TOD2 is already done and it's...stuck in proofread >_<

Anyway, I haven't decided whether to scan TOI yet...so...

Well, it's your call really. Either way, I haven't started scanning it yet.

And no...I haven't opened two months issues worth of Rival yet...>_< I think I'm just gonna look through it quickly and skip those that I don't read (I normally at least take a quick glance...flipping through the pages of the chapters...except for sports manga...

I dunno about people waiting for Ann Cassandra, cause I didn't see anyone posting about it.

The proofread for TOD2 Ch 5 is currently not in my hands for proofreading...it's in someone else's. Perhaps I'll end up handing it over to a faster proofreader...

Yes, I will be scanning, but I've been focusing on more important stuff that I want to do more for my manga scanlation group that I haven't really scanned it yet...plus it isn't an overly popular series at this time...

But I have to agree, it's a pretty good series...I'll try to scan the two chapters as soon as I can manage though, but like I said, I'm currently busy with some releases for my manga scanlation group (i.e. The new Tales of Series that got serialized in Tales of Magazine and also proofreading and Tales of the Abyss, and also passing work to the others on top of my full-time job, I'm a huge fan of the Tales of Series) so I dunno how soon I'll be able to get to doing it (it being a not so popular series kind of contributes to it but I will still do it ^_^")

And yeah...I still haven't opened my Aug and Sept issues of Rival...

naw, i totally understand, i'm sure you've got a lot more pressing commitments for more popular series and those have to take precedence. in the meantime i'll just have to try and get the word out about it. thanks rena.
