I finally decided to buy the CG version of Tales of Hearts from Play-Asia since it was having a super discount to play it. But...as soon as I completed the order, I went back to the page for fun to check approximately how long it would take before it ships (it's within 24 hours, and it will take about one week to reach here cause I'm poor and take free shipping economy air shipping from Play-Asia...not like I need the thing that soon), and guess what I saw?

OUT OF STOCK

I was like...O_o;;; Did I just get the last copy they had?

Now I need to get a hold of the Tales of Hearts Official Complete Guide (there is a copy on sale at Kinokuniya). With the maps and stuff, at least I won't get lost when playing it.

EDIT: I went to check Play-Asia again and it seems they have it in stock, but it will take one week for them to prepare it before shipping it out, which means they do not have a copy on hand. Not only that, it's back to normal price (same price as the Anime version) O_o So not only I ended snagging the last copy they had on hand, I also ended up snagging the last copy that was on sale. Talk about luck (and coincidence) there...

Karma is overrated, but whatever. Now I need to actually play through that thing with my fail Japanese...I almost wish they have more kanji in the game, since I can relate them to Chinese *shot* But either way, with the Tales of Hearts Official Complete Guide (I love Japanese Guidebooks), I can get through the game without ending up wandering around aimlessly and where to go next.

But I still hope the game will make it to the US...

Yay for getting the game! I feel bad for all the poor souls who missed the sale and now have to get it for full price...

I wish I had a Kinokuniya by me... we have Mitsuwa, but it's an hour's drive away, and they don't really have many guidebooks.

I only knew about the sale cause someone in my LJ flist (was it you or was it someone else?) mentioned it. I wasn't planning on buying it at first...but since it was so cheap anyway, I really couldn't resist, and I really want to play the game, Japanese or not. And someone in my flist is working on a translated script for the main story...and I can relate the game to the manga anyway (when I actually start getting it released in English lol).

The Kinokuniya stores here are great. I love them. I love having easy access to them XD

I'm trying to collect all the Tales games, so this was a great deal for me. It might not have been the version I wanted, but oh well.

A translation guide, huh? Pity I never actually use those. I just blunder through the game with my bad Japanese and keep my dictionary next to me. X_X
