Did you notice that Chapter 4 was released under Eternal only? I had stopped doing a joint with them ever since Ju-da-su wanted to translate it, so I gave it to her.

But . . . yeah, I mean, if it's dropped, it would have already been moved to the dropped project section. So, yep, ToD2 is never dropped, Icy . . . at least I don't remember seeing Eternal dropped any of the Tales series yet . . . XD

PS - I've found a translator who's willing to pick up ToD:DC. Do you want me to start him straight on chapter 2 (or 3) from the raws I already have or are there any pages that might become a problem?

It's fine. You can start the translator with whatever raws you have. If there is anything extra in the tanko, I'll have one of Eternal's translators do it.

Hmm, I'll have to put this on a higher scanning priority after I'm done with ToM's scans...maybe I'll rotate :S

I'm still trying to resolve some raw encoding problems for the ToS OVA for AC that's why my scanning has been slow DX But once those have been resolved, I have a lot of scanning to catch up on, but I'll be scanning full force x_x

Oh BTW, who's going to be cleaning? I remember it's going to be you right?

Oh, yeah, what about the typesetting? Want one of Eternal's typesetters to do it or do you want to do it?

As for redrawing, don't forget who we have XD You can just ask her for help, especially the double pages where you can't cover up horrible redrawing with typesetting.

Any use of masking/adjustment layers, etc...?

I can typeset if you want, though I admit I'm a little lost on the SFX. Are there set fonts or do I "wing it" in a sense?

I normally suggest to cleaners to use the levels adjustment layer to find all the black noise to make sure the places that are white is absolutely white. Other than that, they can just use whatever method they're most comfortable to get the end result of a clean for release.

I'm giving you first dibs cause aren't you like a Leon fangirl? As for the SFX, you just run a typeset near the sfx or something. For the fonts, I just let the typesetters choose them. I'm sure you've seen some of the releases. Something similar to that.

If you're going to do the typesetting also, there's only really a few things you need to know. Firstly, my group's release size is 1280px height (I like to keep it as that), so resize before typesetting, since I save the raws at 2000px height. Whether you want to resize before or after cleaning the page is up to you. Some people find it easier to clean with smaller images while some find it easier with larger ones.

Another thing is don't change the name of the files. Lastly, when done and sending for QC, upload the PSDs back to the same folder where I uploaded the raws to on Eternal's Staff FTP, overriding the original PSDs there. Then drop me an e-mail to let me know and I can follow up with the QC and release, then I'll let you know so you can update WoaA's website also and upload there (I can upload to WoaA's site if you really want me to, just need the FTP login). Because of time zone issues, it will be easier if I updated first then you follow since the final stop is on my end where the QC is being done.

I'll try to get Chapter 1 done sometime soon. It will be larger since there is the cover in it and some color pages.
