Finally done with the New Year release for my manga group, Eternal.

I'm really pooped out. Five QCs in...like 6 hours. Time to slack off and rest!

Lots of things to catch up on now that this is done. Lots of stuff to scan for manga scanlations and also for Tales of Scans. Not only that, I want to work on and finish up the Skills Guide/FAQ for Tales of Vesperia and also to move all of the Tales of Series related scans at Tales of Scans into a gallery for easier viewing and also to create batch downloads for them. The gallery is already set up at my web host here, but there is nothing uploaded at the moment. I'm still in the process of tweaking the settings to my liking. It's also called Tales of Scans since it's a gallery to accompany it. This is on top of the to do list, the only things that override it are the weekly scans for Weekly Shounen Magazine and the scanlation for Tales of Vesperia. As usual, I'll be scanning as I'm doing internet stuffs.

There is also another thing I need to do though...try ripping my Tales of Symphonia OVA DVDs to produce raws. I hope it goes right. I've never ripped DVDs before...only music CDs x_x

Not only that, lots of games to play too...ugh...so much to do...and so little time...D: Oh well, I'll just do whatever I can!

Happy New Year!

I do the same but...it gets really annoying xD; I prefer getting it in one shot~ And yeah, I know scanners do that. My original one cut off more than others though :\ Sometimes I use like pencil lead casings xD; I don't need it to go all the way down the side, just a little bit. I've eyeballed it before but...again. Kinna hard. And having to do multi-scans where you have to scan a large image in several parts is even more annoying when a part comes out slanted ;_;'' ..And I get OCD >_>;;

You realize I like to pile things on myself, yes? xD; But I seriously wouldn't mind helping if you ever came into a pinch.

It's not hard to rotate. You just use the measure tool and draw a line on the part of the page that's supposed to be straight and then Rotate Canvas->Attributry (sp?) and the rotation angle would have been filled up for you by the measure tool and just click okay and there you have it XD

Yes, you need to stop piling stuff on yourself XD You seem to be doing a lot of RPs (I don't RP so I don't bother). As for a pinch, the group is actually in better shape than it was last year and the year before last so we'll manage (not to mention I require all cleaner applicants to do the cleaning test >__>)

I use Paint Shop Pro. XD I haaaaet Photoshop. I just can't handle it very well :\ I get all my needs done through it anyway sooo ^^;

I CAN'T HELP IT. IT'S LIKE. MY NATURE OR SOMETHING TO KILL MYSELF ;O; That and I have a LOUD mind. :\ But that's good :D I wish I could just find translators for my own little scanlation project :\ It's put on hold until then.

Why don't you try posting on your journal to look for one? I've tried before and it works XD

Is it a "Tales of" related scanlation project? O_o

...I tried D: But the fandom is. Small. Like. Really small.

And now it's not D: It's for my old passion, Dragon Knights and other works that the manga-ka, Mineko OHkami, did. And she's working on a new project and we've wanted to scanlate it but. 1) her handwriting sucks ballz so any text outside of the normal type print is hard to read xD 2) My friend can translate but...for the first reason and that it's really just ALL HER and she's still learning it's not really that fun for her :\

It's all right >_o; Though..if you ever hear of some random person who wants to translate something and doesn't care what or wants to try something new/different...8D Like that'll happen BUT never know.

The chance of that happening is quite low. Why don't you try posting over at MangaHelpers (http://www.mangahelpers.com)? There are a bunch of translators there that are not tied to any group and might be interested. There are quite a few freelancers there that does public translations with the raws found at that site.

Not only that, your friend can also go there to seek help from the other more experienced translators there. They have a translation help board. That site might be a useful place for your friend to improve her Japanese too :)
