Please adopt instead if you want to own a Pet!

I saw this at SapphireLuna's DeviantART journal and decided to post this here. It's a pretty long letter so I'm going to hide it behind a LJ Cut, but I hope that all of you will read it if you don't already know, another reason I'm putting behind a LJ Cut. Original post is here.

So, I hope if anyone that wants a pet (especially cats or dogs) will go and adopt one from the Animal Shelter instead of giving your money to the these breeders/sellers. Also, remember to do whatever is needed to be sure that they cannot reproduce! Truth is, there are already too many stray/abandoned animals out in the streets or at animal shelters. Don't add to it. If you want another cat or dog or whatever, just adopt another one from the Animal Shelter and do the same thing. Save these animals so that they can live their life and either die from old age or disease (although the former would be better, but like humans, animals can also get fatal diseases like cancer, etc) rather than having being put-down, which is crueler than death from disease.

Remember, a pet is for life!
